Greater Cincinnati Water Works (GCWW) launched a new customer care self-service portal on August 1st, 2016 to better serve you. Through myGCWW Customer Care Portal, you can now view your water usage, review billing statements, and choose how to receive and pay your bill. myGCWW will give you the ability to better manage your account with ease and convenience.

The following FAQs will help you make the easy transition to myGCWW Customer Care Portal.

General FAQs

+ Why did Greater Cincinnati Water Works launch a new customer care and billing system?

Greater Cincinnati Water Works previous customer billing system had been in place since 2008, and a lot has changed since then. Customers wanted more options, such as expanded paperless billing, more AutoPay options and enhanced account management features. We believe MyGCWW Customer Care Portal offers an enhanced user experience and will serve our customers for years to come.

+ Why has my account number changed & how do I find it?

Greater Cincinnati Water Works has made every attempt to make the transition to myGCWW Customer Care Portal as smooth as possible. However, new account numbers were necessary. During this transition period, we will make it easy for you to find your new 10-digit account number:

  1. View the 'Find My New Account Number' tab (link below).
  2. Enter your old account number (with the dash)
  3. You will be given your new 10-digit account number.

+ Who needs to enroll?

Everyone is invited and encouraged to enroll! myGCWW Customer Care Portal will be accessible to all Greater Cincinnati Water Works customers.

Our valued ECAM customers who had an active profile in our previous system are asked to re-enroll to create their new profile and begin enjoying the benefits of our myGCWW Customer Care Portal.

+ If I'm a tenant or an owner’s agent (property manager, etc), can I enroll?

Yes, if you are associated with a GCWW account you can enroll through myGCWW Customer Care Portal.

+ If I was previously signed up for automatic payments, am I still signed-up?

If you were previously set up for automatic payments, your payments will still be drafted automatically. No action required!

Please note it will be necessary to enroll through myGCWW Customer Care Portal to manage your account and enjoy the many new features.

+ Will my bill look different?

Yes. Your new bill is easy to read, user friendly and provides additional features and information to meet your account management needs. Click here for an explanation of your new bill.

+ Can I receive my bill electronically?

Yes! GCWW places a priority on our environment. We also strive to save our customers time and keep rates as low as possible. Your bill delivery will default to a paperless eBill when you enroll through myGCWW Customer Care Portal. Enroll Now!

Setting up Your myGCWW Customer Care Portal Account

+ Why should I enroll through myGCWW Customer Care Portal?

Through the personalized myGCWW Customer Care Portal you can enjoy the following benefits:

+ How do I set up my new myGCWW profile?

Get started in three easy steps:

  1. Find your account number.
    New account numbers are 10 digits, old account numbers are 12-14 digits - both work the first-time you set up your new profile.
  2. Click on "ENROLL NOW" on the login screen, located in the upper right hand corner. Enrollment begins with your name, email address and account number. A verification email will be sent to your email address.
  3. Follow the link in your verification email to complete your enrollment

+ What if I lose or have to reset my password?

You may reset or change your password using the 'Forgot Password' link on the login page of the myGCWW Customer Care Portal.

+ Are online payments secure?

Yes. Safety and security are a top priority in everything we do.Our payment system takes a multi-tiered approach to data security and system integrity. This system employs many highly advanced security hardware, software, and protocols to protect its system.

Your user name and password are unique identifiers that only you know. If you don't share this information with anyone, then no one else can sign onto the site pretending to be you.

You are automatically signed off of your session if you are inactive for a period of twenty minutes.We recommend you sign off immediately after you are finished checking or making payment(s) to your account(s).

+ I currently pay my bill through my bank. Do I have to change my account with them?

Yes. Your new account is now a 10-digit number. If you were previously setup to pay through your bank, you will need to update your Greater Cincinnati Water Works account number with them.

+ How can I manage multiple accounts?

It is not necessary to enroll each of your accounts separately. Once you register through myGCWW Customer Care Portal all of your accounts will automatically be available. Users with multiple accounts will need to enter an account number for an additional property during enrollment for verification purposes.
